Composite rod
Composite reinforcement (glass fibre - reinforced polymer) has been used in building structures for more than twenty years. High corrosion resistance, low weight, high tensile strength, electromagnetic inertness and simplicity of cutting are the main factors for choosing composite bars as structural reinforcement. The numerous projects in which such reinforcement has been used and the positive results of many tests prove that they are a good alternative to classic reinforcing steel.
We offer bars with a diameter of fi = 6 mm. This is a substitute for AIII steel bars with a thickness of 8mm, while being almost 80% lighter than its traditional counterpart. It is ideal for:
- road construction,
- Pouring low-load foundations,
- greenhouse construction,
- low load concrete products,
- making flexible connections,
- construction of buildings exposed to corrosion.
Bar lengths available: 2.45m and 9.8m.
