Composite rod
A ∅6 mm composite rod designed for reinforcement, it is an alternative to traditional reinforcing steel.
Product description
A ∅6 mm composite rod designed for reinforcement is an alternative to traditional reinforcing steel.
GFPR (glass fibre reinforced polymer) composite reinforcement has been used in building structures for over twenty years. High corrosion resistance, low weight, high tensile strength, electromagnetic inertness and ease of cutting are the main factors determining the choice of composite rods as structural reinforcement. Numerous projects in which such reinforcement has been used and the positive results of many tests prove that they are a good alternative to classic reinforcing steel.
Our offer includes ∅6mm rods. They are a substitute for AIII ∅8mm steel rods, while being almost 80% lighter than their traditional counterpart. They are perfect for:
- road construction,
- pouring low-load foundations,
- greenhouse construction,
- manufacturing low-load concrete products,
- making flexible connections,
- constructing structures exposed to corrosion.
Available bar lengths: 2.45 m and 9.8 m.
